DKSH acquires Andreas Jennow A/S in Denmark

Distributor and Market Expansion Services Provider DKSH AG (Zürich, Switzerland) has acquired Danish specialty chemicals distributor Andreas Jennow A/S (Birkerød, Denmark), in a move to strengthen the European operations of its Business Unit Performance Materials.
The privately held company was founded in 1916 and posted net sales of ca. CHF 30 mn in 2014. It is active as a distributor of speciality chemicals and a supplier of raw materials in Northern Europe and in the Baltics. The company has activities in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
DKSH said that the acquisition will be immediately earnings accretive. No financial details regarding the transaction were disclosed.
