IMCD opens new Coatings Lab in Turkey

IMCD now operating 43 Application Laboratories spread across EMEA, the Americas and Asia-Pacific

International speciality chemicals and food ingredients distributor IMCD N.V. (Rotterdam, The Netherland), announced it has opened a Coatings application laboratory in Istanbul – Turkey, bringing the total number of such facilities within the group to 43. With a focus on Paints, Coatings & Inks, the service offering includes formulation guidance, innovative solutions to overcome technical challenges and product performance testing. The new facility will also provide the space for IMCD’s experts to hold technical training sessions and customer seminars on the latest product trends and their applications.

The laboratory is IMCD’s 12th facility for Coatings & Construction worldwide. The international network of laboratories also includes facilities for the Personal Care, Lubricants, Home Care and I&I, Food & Nutrition and Pharmaceutical Business Groups, the company said in the announcement.
