German Distributor diversifies into Production of Ceramics and Powder Metallurgy Additives

Speciality chemicals distributor KRAHN Chemie GmbH (Hamburg, Germany),  has acquired eMBe Products & Service GmbH (Thierhaupten (Augsburg), Germany), a producer of additives for the ceramics and the powder metallurgy industry, effective 01. May 2019.

Privately held eMBe Products & Service company was founded in 2007. The company produces binder systems for the thermoplastic shaping of sinterable powder materials (ceramic and metallurgic) under the trade names Embemould® and Embelube®, KRAHN Chemie said in a statement.

No financial details were disclosed on this transaction.
