2M Holdings Ltd. acquires Dry Ice Producer CE-02 Trockeneis GmbH

Chemicals services group 2M Holdings Ltd. (London, United Kingdom), parent company of chemical distributors Banner Chemicals and Surfachem has acquired CE-O2 Trockeneis GmbH (Düsseldorf, Germany),  a producer and distributor of Dry Ice in slices, pellets and nuggets.

Established in 1999, the company serves a broad range of customers in the Food, Catering and Life Sciences industries from its base next to Düsseldorf International Airport.  According to 2M Holdings, Dry Ice is used in many different applications, including biological reserch, medical procedures such as organ transplants, food processing, cleaning, rubber processing and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

The company will be managed by Reiner Niethammer, a very experienced executive from the Industrial Gases sector, the statement said.
