Barentz invests to expand in Feed Ingredients Distribution

Food and feed ingredients distributor Barentz International N.V. (Hoofddorp, The Netherlands) last week announced that it has acquired a majority share in Globe Ingredients (Zwijndrecht, The Netherlands), an international raw material trader and distributor with additional offices in China, Colombia and Serbia.

Globe Ingredients’ core business is in Vitamins and Amino Acids, mainly for the Feed industry, Barentz said. With 16 employees located in four offices across three continents, the company provides a range of high-quality ingredients and additives for the Feed, Food and Pharma industry, under the international quality systems GMP / GDP (Good Manufacturing / Good Distribution Practice) and FAMI-QS.

The company will continue to be led by its own management team, with the two Directors Martijn Krijgsman and Frànk van Eeden.
