Nexeo broadens Footprint in Central America

US-based chemicals and plastics distributor Nexeo Solutions, Inc. (The Woodlands (Houston), TX – United States of America) earlier this week announced that it has succesfully completed the acqusition of Ultra Chem, S. de R.L. de C.V. (Mexico City, Mexico), a distributor of specialty chemicals.

Ultra Chem, which was founded in 2000 has five sales offices in Mexico as well as branche offices in Costa Rica and Guatemala. The company offers products for a range of industries, including Food & Beverage, Personal & Home Care, Paints & Coatings, Inks, Adhesives, Flexible PU Foam and  Industrial Chemicals.

No financial details were disclosed on this transaction, was originally announced on 09. March 2017.
