Brenntag sells non-core Entity to Croda

Global chemical distributor Brenntag AG (Essen, Germany) announced  today that it has signed an agreement to divest Brenntag Biosector A/S (Ballerup, Denmark) to Croda International Plc (Snaith (Leeds), United Kingdom) for a total consideration of 72 EUR mn.

Biosector is a specialist producer of adjuvants for vaccines, suitable for both, human and veterinary applications. The product portfolio comprises Aluminium-based and Saponin-based adjuvants. The company has its own production site in Fredrikssund, Denmark.

According to Brenntag, the transaction is expected to close by the end of 2018.
