Biesterfeld appoints Hagen Reck as new CFO

Transition Period until current CFO Christian Wolfsohn retires at the End of June

Polymers and speciality chemicals distributor Biesterfeld AG (Hamburg, Germany),  has appointed Hagen Reck as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). He has joined the group on 01. February and is to succeed Christian Wolfsohn, who will retire at the end of June after having spent 14 years in the CFO role.

 

Reck, who started his career in banking and holds a degree in business administration (“Diplom-Kaufmann”)  from Mannheim University, has more than 20 years of professional experience, working primarily in family-owned companies with international activities.  His most recent position was that of Senior Vice President Finance & Controlling for Munich-based Knorr Bremse, a globally active automotive supplier.
