Azelis acquires MK Ingredients & Specialties and SSD Industries

Specialty chemicals and food ingredients distributor Azelis S.A. (Munsbach, Luxembourg) has announced that it has acquired the distribution activties of MK Ingredients & Specialties  and SSD Industries [combined “MK”] (Mumbai, india ), a family-owned distributor of products for the Food industry with some activities in technical and industrial markets.

MK operates a well-equiped laboratory and covers the sub-sectors Confectionary, Bakery and Dairy.  The laboratory will be taken over by Azelis and added to the network in India that already covers Personal Care, Food  and CASE. Employees and managemnt will join the Azelis team.

No financial information was disclosed on the transaction.
