Azelis enhances Position in Switzerland

Specialty chemicals distributor Azelis S.A. (Munsbach, Luxembourg) has announced the acquisition of Georges Walther AG  (Pfäffikon, SZ – Switzerland), a distributor focussing on Cosmetic Ingredients, Essential Oils and Fragrances. Other product lines include Pharma Ingredients, Food Supplements and Food Ingredients.

The company , which employees a staff of nine, operates from an office in Pfäffikon, SZ on Lake Zurich and a  warehouse in Rümlang, not far from Zurick-Kloten Airport. Jean-Daniel Walther, currently CEO and Sales Director of the company will assume a new role as Business Manager Personal Care Switzerland, reporting to Urs Haller, Managing Director of Azelis Switzerland.

No financial details of the transaction, which will close in the coming months, were disclosed.
