Azelis enhances Position in Food Ingredients Distribution in Nordic Region

Specialty chemicals distributor Azelis S.A. (Munsbach, Luxembourg) has last week agreed to acquire LCH A/S (Rødovre, Denmark), a distributor of functional food ingredients and own blends, including the company’s Turkish subsidiary Inno Gida (Istanbul, Turkey). All 16 employees will join Azelis.

A key market for LCH is the bakery and confectionery sector, where the company offers innovative products such as organic, preservative-free and protein-rich mixes. Gert Schnoor, so far CEO of LCH will lead the combined Azelis Nordic organisation. He will replace Andrew Johnson, who has headed Azelis Nordic in the past and will now relocate to the United Kingdom, the statement said.
