Azelis enhances Position in Australia and New Zealand

Specialty chemicals distributor Azelis S.A. (Munsbach, Luxembourg) has last week agreed to acquire Chemcolour Industries Limited (Auckland, New Zealand), a distributor of specialty chemicals and food ingredients.

The company trades under the “Nutura Functional Food Ingredients” brand for food and nutraceutical ingredients in New Zealand. It has activities in Australia (including specialty chemicals contract formulation and blending) and New Zealand and employs a staff of 90 specialists, the statement said.

No financial deatils were disclosed on this transaction, which is supposed to close within the next few months.
