Azelis in Nordic Region Food Ingredients Consolidation Move

Specialty chemicals distributor Azelis S.A. (Munsbach, Luxembourg) has announced the signing of an agreement to acquire 100% of food ingredients distributor Ingredi AB (Stockholm, Sweden) from current owner and CEO Fredrik Wollin who will continue to work as part of the Azelis team.

Ingredi’s roots go back to  1949 when Calle Wollin set the company Kemfor AB. In 2002 part of the operation was seperated from the tehn family owned company and became part of the Danish LCH Group. LCH Sweden AB changed its name to Ingredi AB in June 2012. Today the company sells products to customers in the food and health industry.

No financial details of the transaction, which follows the acquistion of SammiChem in South Korea last week, were disclosed.
