Azelis strengthens Presence in Ireland

Specialty chemicals distributor Azelis S.A. (Munsbach, Luxembourg) has announced the signing of an agreement to acquire 100% of food ingredients and chemicals distributor P-K Chemicals Limited (Dublin, Ireland).

P-K Chemicals Limited was set up in 1988 by Pat Duffy and Kevin Tobin (until recently the company’s main shareholder and Director). Besides Food & Feed the company also serves the Pharmaceutical & Healthcare sector as well as certain non-food manufacturing industries like CASE (= Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants & Eleastomers). All employees will join the Azelis team, the announcement said. Graeme Locke, General Manager P-K Chemicals will be the future Managing Director of Azelis Ireland.

No financial details of the transaction were disclosed.
