Azelis expands Geographic Coverage in the Asia-Pacific Region

Specialty chemicals distributor Azelis S.A. (Munsbach, Luxembourg) has announced the signing of an agreement to acquire 100% of specialties distributor SammiChem Co. Ltd. [“Sammi”] (Seoul, South Korea) from current owner and CEO Mann Sup Ryoo. Through this transaction Azelis establishes a presence in this country with more than 50 mn inhabitants and a strong economy and brings the geographical coverage to a total of 12 countries across the Asia-Pacific region.

Sammi is a specialised distributor of Personal Care and Cosmetics Ingredients  that represents a range of well recognised international ingredients suppliers.  All 17 employees of the company will be joining the Azelis team.

No financial details of the transaction, which is expected to be completed during the next three months, were disclosed.
