Brenntag expands Specialty Chemicals Coverage in the Northeast of the U.S.

Global chemical distributor Brenntag AG (Essen, Germany) on Wednesday announced the acquisition of New England Resins & Pigments Corporation [“NERP”] (Woburn, MA – United States of America), a regional distributor of specialty chemicals and packaging solutions.

With a portfolio of Colour Pigments, Functional Minerals, Resins and Additives, the company, which is registred as NERP Holding Co. Inc., serves mainly the Coatings & Construction and Adhesives industries.

The acquired business generated annual sales of USD 28.6 mn in FY2018 at a Gross Proffit of USD 5.8 mn. No further financial details were disclosed on the transaction
