Co-founder and CEO Tony Infilise announces current Vice-President Philip Infilise as Successor
Tony Infilise, co-founder and CEO of Quadra Chemicals Ltd. (Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec – Canada) and its U.S. subsidiary Quadra Chemicals, Inc. last week announced the appointment of Philip Infilise, Vice President Resources, as his successor as CEO of both Quadra companies. While the move will be effective 01. October 2020, when Tony Infilise will focus on his role as Chairman of the Board of Infilise Holdings Inc., Quadra’s parent company, the gradual transition will start immediately. Philip Infilise will report to his father in “a transitional CEO role”.
The CEO succession announcement follows the appointment as per 01. October 2017 of Anne-Marie Infilise as President of Quadra. The company “benefits significantly from a shared leadership model currently in place between the CEO and President, which will continue”, the company said.
Since joining Quadra in 2000 as Account Manager, Philip Infilise, a graduate of Concordia University, the University of Industrial Distribution sponsored by Purdue University and an alumnus of Queens University’s Executive Program, has held a number of positions within Quadra. These have included the role of Product Manager, Sales Manager, SBU Manager and Business Manager, Mining. Since 2016 he was the Vice-President Resources, responsible for both the Mining and Energy Groups within Quadra.
In a related move, Normand Goyer has been appointed Vice-President Resources, effective 01. October 2019. Goyer, a Chemistry graduate of Montreals McGill University, joined Quadra in 2014 as Vice-President after a long career at Univar, Eastman Chemicals, Lafarge and Givaudan. Michel Lamba, Quadra’s Chief Digital Officer will report directly to Philip Infilise as of 01. October 2019.
