Nexeo Solutions receives Score of 55 in recent Rating of CSR Programme

US-based chemicals and plastics distributor Nexeo Solutions, Inc. (The Woodlands (Houston), TX – United States of America) earlier this week announced that it achieved a score of 55 in its recent Corporate Social Responsibility (“CSR”) rating by EcoVadis, giving it a “Silver Medal” recognition level.

This coincides with the publication of Nexeo’s inaugural 2017 sustainabilty report titled “Connecting Sustainable Solutions”. Nexeo said the score puts it in the top 15% of the companies rated by EcoVadis in the Chemical Wholesale Industry and the top 7% for “Sustainable Procurement”.

DistriConsult comment: Several other chemical distributors have obtained an EcoVadis rating. The list includes Azelis (September 2018 / Gold Level at 68 points) and Brenntag (October 2016 / Gold Level at 66 points).
