Paris-based Distributor now Member of the World’s largest Corporate Sustainability Initiative
Specialty Chemicals distributor Safic-Alcan S.A. (Puteaux (Paris), France) has announced that it has joined the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest voluntary corporate citizenship and sustainability initiative. In doing so, the distributor committing to align its strategy and operations worldwide with the ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment protection and anti-corruption.
in the announcement Safic-Alcan said that ” … sustainability is not just a question of respecting regulations, it has been part of our identity, our corporate strategy and our culture for many years. It is and will remain an opportunity to use our creativity and innovation to be part of the solution, for our world today and for future generations. By joining the UN Global Compact, we are taking an important step to publicly commit to our values.”
