Univar to expand Agricultural Business in Latin America

Global chemical distributor Univar Inc. (Downers Grove, IL – United States) last week reported that its subsidiary Univar Brasil Ltda. (São Paulo, São Paulo – Brasil) has acquired the shares of Tagma Brasil Ltda. (Paulínia, São Paulo – Brasil), a formulator and packager of Crop Protection Chemicals.

The company, which was established in 2000, is a local provider of formulation and packaging services for Crop Protection Chemicals, such as Fungicides, Herbicides, Insecticides and Surfactants. The product portfolio comprises more than 200 registered formulations

No financial details were disclosed on this transaction.
