Vinmar acquires Controlling Stake in Veser Kimya
Global petrochemicals marketing, distribution and project development company Vinmar International Ltd. (Houston, TX – United States) has announced that it has acquired a controlling stake of 90% in Turkish specialty chemicals distributor Veser Kimyevi Maddeler AŞ [“Veser”] (Tuzla – İstanbul, Turkey).
Veser was established in 1988. Today the company has ca. 65 employees that supply ca. 1’200 customer in the Cosmetics, Detergent, Paints & Coatings, and Textile industries from four warehouses, located in Istanbul, Izmir and Adana. Turnover for 2017 is expected to be above TRL 200 mn in 2017. K. Özlem Düzgünses and Emre Kırca will remain as partners in the company, and will continue to operate the company, Vinmar said in a statement.
No financial details were disclosed on this transaction.
