Caldic enhances Product and Service Offering in North America

International producer and distributor of food ingredients and chemicals, Caldic B.V. (Rotterdam, The Netherlands) today announced that it has completed the acquisition of HT Griffin Food Ingredients [“HTG”] (Missisauga, ON – Canada),  a manufactuer and supplier of food ingredients and belnding solutions to the Canadian market.

The company was founded in 1940 by Harold T. Griffin and his wife Hellen. Most recently the company was managed by Grant Kenney, President in the fourth generation. Based on its dry blending and distribution capabilities, HTG markets a broad product range, including Stabiliser Systems, Custom Blends, Flavour Systems, Dairy Ingredients, Extracts and Sweeteners, Caldic said.

No financial details were disclosed on the transaction.
